Sheet A-101 · The complete process

One permit. One all-in-one process.

ResCom doesn’t sell pieces of a permit. There is one service — the complete run, start to finish — and these are its eight stages, in the order they typically happen:

  • STAGE · 01

    Register the Contractor

We register your company with the corresponding counties, so you’re cleared to pull permits before the first job starts.

    Stage 1: Contractor registration
  • STAGE · 02

    Fill Out the Application

We fill out the permit application completely and correctly, with the supporting documents it calls for.

Stage 2: Fill out the application
  • STAGE · 03

    Notarize the Application

Applications need a notarized signature before they can be filed. We handle the notarizing inside the run.

    Stage 3: Notarize the application
  • STAGE · 04

    File the Permit

We file the completed, notarized application with the right department, the right way — and track it from there.

    Stage 4: File the permit
  • STAGE · 05

    Plan Review

We handle every communication with the plan review department — comments, corrections, resubmittals — until your plans are approved.

    Stage 5: Plan review
  • STAGE · 06

    Utility Coordination — Shut-Offs

We work between your company and the utility companies to coordinate shut-offs so your crew can work safely.

    Stage 6: Utility shut-offs
  • STAGE · 07

    Inspection

We act as liaison with the inspector — scheduling and planning the on-site inspections around your job.

    Stage 7: Inspection
  • STAGE · 08

    Utility Coordination — Turn-Ons

After inspection, a second round of utility coordination gets services turned back on so the job hands over on schedule.

    Stage 8: Utility turn-ons

That’s the typical flow — every job is different, and the stages and their order flex to fit the specific project. What never changes is the product: one all-in-one service, handled start to finish. For example, a new construction job may need several rounds of inspections, with utility shut-offs and turn-ons only at the very end — the stages flex, the all-in-one coverage doesn’t.

How a permit run works

  1. 01

    You send the job

Fill out the start form with your company, trade, and a short job description.

  2. 02

    We build the packet

Registration checked, application filled out, and the application notarized ready for filing.

  3. 03

    We file & follow up

Permit filed, plan review answered, utility shut-offs coordinated, and inspections scheduled.

  4. 04

    You build

Permit issued, inspections passed, utilities turned back on — your crew stays on the tools, not in line.
